Minoas - Marine Executive Solutions

The Minoas pillar is a high-capacity water distribution system, designed for installation in ports and marinas to supply large vessels and cruise ships. It enables automated water provisioning without the need for personnel, offering users a specific water volume (in cubic meters – m³) based on prepaid credits through the system’s managing authority.

Includes one (1) 2” water outlet, supplied via a 2” angle valve and a 2” Stortz-type quick connector.

Safety & Sealing

Complete separation of hydraulic from electrical and electronic systems ensures maximum safety and body waterproofing.

Pillar Construction

Made entirely of stainless steel AISI 430, designed and manufactured with high-end CNC machinery for maximum durability and a modern aesthetic.
Impact resistance: IK10.

Color Coating

Electrostatic powder coating (RAL type) for maximum protection against corrosion and UV radiation, suitable for harsh marine environments.

LED Lighting

Striking LED lighting with very low energy consumption. Provides sufficient illumination for nighttime use, highlighting the pillar’s elegant, floating-like design. All selection and refund buttons are backlit for easier operation at night. Lighting turns off automatically during daytime to conserve energy.

Base Construction

The pillar’s base is separate from the main body and made of 3mm reinforced stainless steel. It features a central opening for electrical cables and water pipes, and four Φ16mm holes for secure mounting.

Electrical System

Includes a 10A / 30mA residual current device (RCD) for protection of the pillar’s LED lighting and control electronics.

Electronic System

The Minoas pillar operates with a contactless prepaid card system allowing full automation.
Large 5” color LCD TFT display with 8 lines of large-font text. Dual-language interface (Greek & English). Continuous on-screen instructions for user-friendly operation
Backlit button for selecting the water supply; when in use, the button turns off.
Backlit refund button for unused credit. Remaining balance is returned to the card for future use when the user disconnects

Hydraulic System

Certified 2” brass water valve, corrosion-resistant
2” Stortz-type quick connector for easy connection to the ship’s hose
2” brass pulse water meter with multi-jet protected cylinders and built-in numeric display
2” brass solenoid valve with reinforced 12V low-voltage coil
