Cylindrical Fenders

Cylindrical fenders provide superior protection for vessels and have a longer service life than most other fender types. They are simple, flexible, and easy to install. Their progressive reaction force makes them ideal for piers that accommodate both large and small vessels.
A wide range of standard sizes (and custom intermediate sizes) is available to suit nearly any application.

Key Advantages:

  • Simple and cost-effective design with easy installation and maintenance.
  • Available in all sizes up to 2700 mm in diameter.
  • Thick walls for increased resistance to abrasion and wear.
  • Progressive load-deflection curve for enhanced energy absorption.

Pneumatic Fenders (YOKOHAMA Type)

Pneumatic fenders are constructed from reinforced rubber compounds, forming a cylindrical air-filled body operating under low internal pressure. Unlike traditional solid rubber fenders, these utilize the elastic compression of air for impact absorption, offering superior performance under dynamic loading.

They are also equipped with heavy-duty aircraft tires for added durability.

Certified according to ISO 17357:2002, pneumatic floating rubber fenders are often referred to as “Yokohama Fenders” or “Yokohama-Type Fenders.”

Key Advantages:

  • Excellent energy absorption with low reaction force.
  • Wide contact area, resulting in low surface pressure.
  • Capability for angled compression (lateral deflection).
  • Outstanding performance under extreme temperature conditions.

D-Type Fenders

D-Type fenders are widely used as protective elements on tugboats and various auxiliary vessels.

  • DD-type: D-shaped hole for mounting with a flat bar.
  • DC-type: Circular hole offering increased wall thickness and durability.
  • Available in other cross-sectional profiles as well.

They can be cut to custom lengths, drilled, angled, or pre-curved according to project specifications.

Key Advantages:

  • Moderate reaction force and reliable energy absorption.
  • Quick and easy installation.
  • Lightweight and low-maintenance.
  • Ideal for frame-type docks and quay wall protection
